Hi, Nancy: Thanks for your reply. I descend from Peter Wetherington, Sr., and Jr. Peter Wetherington, Sr's second family (Esther Allen). I saw a post of the FamilyHistory.com message board just last night. My descendancy is: Robert Widdrington>John Witherington>William Witherington>Peter Wetherington, Sr.>Peter Wetherington, Jr.>Macklin Henry Wetherington>Barney Stevens Wetherington, Sr>Me (Paula Ann Wetherington Greer). There were 17 children born to the union of Macklin Henry and Martha Marie Carter, with 11 surviving into adulthood. Alvin was the oldest, b. Abt 1875; my father, Barney, was second to the youngest, b. 1897. There are other Wetheringtons who moved to Florida from Georgia. The youngest of the family was Samuel (Ellie) Wethrington and he lived in the Plant City/Lake Alfred area. Does any of this ring a bell with you?
