If you can give me the information you know about him I could tell you if this is the same Daniel Witcher. The Daniel Witcher of VA/TN was in fact a Revolutionary War Veteran. Actually a great deal of Tennesseans moved to Texas after having lived in Tennessee for a period and contributed greatly to the development of Texas. Daniel had a son that lived in Texas. This could be the same line.
