There is some confusion about Daniel Witcher. Even in the DAR records most members reach William Witcher through the Daniel Witcher who lived in TN. My Daniel Witcher lived in Western Virginia and married Sallie Ward, daughter of Jeremiah Ward. As a member of DAR you can check the records of older members. Take a look....
