I have a Sarah wiswell who married Hezekiah Haren in 1779. Hezekiah was born in Windsor Co. VT 10/01/1755 and died 4/ 1835. The Haran name appears on a petition to the government of Vermont for land in Athens VT for "great struggling in the great struggle with Great Britain". There are 59 names on it including Samuel Wiswell Jr. I wonder if either Wiswell was in the revolution. Hope this is tied in to your search somehow. Glad to give names off the petition eventually granted in late 1780 Athens, not far south of chester VT.
