Isaac Wissinger was born Mar 4, 1824 at Montgomery Co., Ohio the son of Jacob M. Wissinger (1783(c) - 1833) and Elizabeth Studebacker (1798-1865). Isaac died Nov 30, 1896 and is buried with his second wife at the Metzger Cemetery, between Peru and Onward, Miami Cnty, Indiana.
Isaac first married Dec 1, 1850 to Mary Stroup (July 30, 1832 - June 8, 1861) and they had 4 children: Elizabeth, William, John and Sarah.
His second marriage was to Mrs. Margaret (Habecker) Weaver (Sept 27, 1835 - Nov 26, 1906) on Apr 16, 1864. They had 6 children: Anna, Mary, Jacob, Lavina, Joseph and Christian.
