Thanks for the info. I've come across this info in my study, but glad to have the same again. I also have someone working on the Wissings that left LeHavre bound for NYC in 1856 with George Wissing, Barbara Wissing, Margaretha Wissing, Jaques Wissing, Maria Wissing and George (infant) Wissing. The ship was apparently the Middlesex and they came from Bavaria, Germany, I think Leisweiler.
