At last, Sherilyn, here it is. The Burdge article in its entirety (to my surprise) is in THE BOOK: The Wisners in America and their Kindred. A Genealogical and Biographical History. By G. Franklin Wisner, B.S. Baltimore Maryland. Pages21 to 63. This is Chapter IV. It's headed, Henry Wisner,, Member of First and Second Continental Congress and the Only New Yorker Who Voted for the Declaration of Independence. There are reproductions of many letters. Burdge concludes on page 40 and then there are additions. There are additional memorials. Lots more including the National Cyclopedia of American Biography Published by James T. White & Co in 1897. I need to correct a couple of mistakes I have made while talking about this. Our original Johannes had two sons, true, but had a number of daughters also. And, more particularly, I believe our Henry is his grandson, not his son. Sorry for these mistakes. hope this helps. Pat Notify Administrator about this message?
