Could John havae been the brother of my g g grandfather, Cornelius DuBois Wisner?
Obviously the DuBois connection is interesting!
G G Grandfather was born in 1837 in upper New York State and then moved to Michigan. (we know he was a descendent of original Wisner: Johannes from Orange County and that he descended from "The Fighting Wisners of Revolutionary Fame".
Do we connect?
A number of us on this formum are looking for Cornelius' father.
