Hi, I just found your posting. I'm in the 8th generation from Jacob Wisler (1700-1752) he was born in Germany and married Magdalema around 1720. The Wisler family originally came from Sumiswald/Bern Switzerland. They were Mennonite in their belief. They had 10 children. Jacob Wisler Jr. (1725-1807) was married to Ester and they had 6 children. Christian Whisler, Jacob Jr. brother also had a Jacob who married Nancy(Anna)____. Your letter sounds interesting. If I can be of help, please contact me.
