Many thanks for replying to my message on Genforum.
I'm researching on behalf of my neighbour Elspeth Wishart Rennick, born Jan 1907 daughter of Daisy Wishart and Samuel Rennick.
Sir Sidney Wishart was Elspeths Grt Uncle, and she knew Edward well.
I have quite a lot of info from John Costy W. down but nothing before. I also have a copy of his m. cert. His father's name (John Wishart) has a middle name I can't read from the cert. I can scan a copy to you if you would like one.
I've also seen reference to a will of a John Wishart, Gentleman of Rotherhide, on Documents on Line, from your information this would now seem relevant.
The whole of Elspeth's family story is fascinating, and I would be grateful for any information you could supply.
I'm seeing Elspeth on Friday and I know she will be thrilled at the information you have given me.
