Thanks for the interest in this line. The conclusion is drawn based on the best available evidence and is the most reasonable inference of the record based on the following facts:
1. all researchers to date agree on her name and the names of her parents
2. the name of her father is uncommon, even rare
3. this is the only record that includes all of these names together as a family, even the rare name of her father, in the appropriate time period
4. no other record has been produced regarding this family or a family of similar names
5. no other families of like names have been found. in other words, no other Dinzel Lytles with daughter's by the name of Susannah have been found in any records any where, yet.
6. Many Lairds of both Scotland and Ireland came out of Cornwall itself, so the fact that the record is found in Cornwall does not preclude the Irish connection
7. this is a baptism, not a birth, record. Many children were baptised many years after they were born. The Cornwall baptism record does preclude a birth elsewhere or at an earlier date.
I have hired a local Cornwall genealogist to search local records for references to this Lytle family to see if we can find a precise location for any estates belonging to the family that were outside Cornwall to search for additional records. Anything we find we will post.
