(Johann?) Peter Wiseman Will - Augusta Co., VA
The following is a transcription of the Will of Peter Wiseman of Augusta Co., VA, who died in December, 1798.The Will was originally written in German and transcribed into English when it was recorded in Will Book 8 at pages 337-338.It is my understanding that Peter's widow, Elizabeth Margaret, also left a Will recorded March 1805 in Augusta County. There is an additional document regarding the Estates of both Peter and Elizabeth Margaret recorded 20 Dec. 1815, which appears to be the settlementof their Estates. This document is on pages 148-149, but no Will Book number is given.Copies may be obtained from the Augusta County Circuit Clerk, P. O. Box 698, Staunton, VA22402.They charge 50 cents per page for copies.
