Karen,
I have this same information you have listed on the first Isaac Wiseman. But I've also got contradictory information on his birthplace and date. So it depends on whom you ask.
Regardless, this seems to be pretty close to to the right time period and he seems to have been in the Philadelphia area as a young man. The two big questions I'm trying to understand are 1) Whether his parents were part of a religious community that came to Phildelphia fleeing persecution and 2) Whether Isaac was part of the Jersey settlement's unique religious community in Rowan County, North Carolina, which was foundational (along the with Sandy Creek community in nearby Guilford County) in establishing what would become the Southern Baptist Church in America. That's particularly interesting because a later Isaac Wiseman helped establish the oldest Methodist Church west of the Alleghanies. So I'm looking into the religious roots of this family, particularly because I suspect it something to do with their repeated migrations.
