Ernest Oliver Wiseman Sr.
Ernest Oliver Wiseman Sr. is buried in Poplar Grove cemetery in Drummonds Tennessee, Tipton county. When I visited the cemetery he had a double tombstone with one of his wives Emily A. Daniels. On the tombstone he is listed as being born January 3, 1884 and died January 24, 1967. Emily A. Daniels is listed as being born October 18, 1907 and died July 27, 1951. On the other side of Ernest is another wife Nealie. The tombstone does not say her last name, but it does say she is the wife of Ernest. I live in Tipton county so I will be visiting the cemetery soon to get more information on her tombstone. The daughter of Ernest oliver Wiseman sr. and Emily A. Daniels is buried in front of them. Her name is Lena Mae Wiseman. Her tombstone includes both of her married last names. Her tombstone has Lena Mae Wiseman-Sims-Powell. On it is the words "Gone but not forgotten". She was born on March 22, 1933 in Missouri. That same year her family moved to Tennessee. In 1997 Lena had two minor strokes and was placed in Baptist memorial hospital-Tipton. She was released three days later. one week later she had a third stroke in her home in Munford, Tennessee-Tipton county. She was taken back to Baptist memorial hospital-tipton and she was pronounced brain dead as soon as she arrived. she stayed on life support for one week and she was taken off on April 3, 1997 and died that day. Lena's first husband was Thomas Lee Sims. He is buried in Ravenscroft cemetery in Tipton County. He was born on February 13, 1936. He died in a gas bomb accident in a bar. A customer got mad at the bartender and threw a gas bomb inside the bar. It landed in the lap of Thomas Lee Sims. He was put in the hospital but didn't live long because once he saw his hands he gave up. He was known for working with his hands. He died in the hospital on November 24, 1971. He is buried near his mother Hazel marie Webb-Sims, his father Eddie Lee sims, and his brother John E. Sims. I have more information on lena wiseman and her children.
