This George Wisel is in fact George Weisel, Jr b. 1754 in Bucks Co, PA married to Margaret Rohr and died at the age of 95 in Jan. 1850.
He is the son of George Weisel, Sr and Anna Maria Weierbach. George Sr was b 1730 in Alsace and died 10 Aug 1802 in Bucks Co. He is the son of George Michael Weisel and Susanna Kiefer from Alsace Germany.
If anyone is interested I have a photo of George Jr., grave in Mineral Point, he is my 5th great grandfather. I also have an article from the East Taylor Twp Centenial book about him. Also the foundation of his home is still standing not far from his grave sight. My father always talked about the Wysel Hill Cemetery in Mineral Point but never knew where it was, now it is located and marked by an American flag and stone. It contains two or possibly three graves but only one is marked.
