Just in case some clarification is needed, I'm not talking about *buying* the book online. Many people, certainly in the state of Texas, have home access to Heritage Quest through their local public library. Heritage Quest has many genealogical books available for viewing or downloading at no cost. The GW Wisdom book is one of them. As a pdf file it's about 10MB.

The "Billy Lewis" book you talk about is probably the one by Billy Lewis Smith. He has occasionally posted on this forum and may have already seen your post. If I recall correctly, several years ago he mentioned that he still had a couple of books for sale. I believe he is, as am I, a descendant of Abner WISDOM of Caswell Co NC.

"Camp Wisdom" was an old scout camp on land donated by John S WISDOM. "Camp Wisdom Road" is a major artery in south Dallas County.
