Can anyone please tell me when and where Michael S. Wisdom (1814-1870) and his wife Susannah L. Todd (1821-1908) married?
Some researchers have posted that they married in 1852 and in Missouri (Barry County is often named). However, (1) Barry County online records have no record of their marriage; and (2) Their first child was born in 1840.
Their children are as follows: Elizabeth Wisdom (1840-1881). Mary A. Wisdom (1841-). Sarah M. Wisdom (1845-). Margaret J. Wisdom (1850-1926). Mary Evaline Wisdom (1853-1892). Angeline Wisdom (1853-1892). Lewcinda A. Wisdom (1855-). Todd Francis Wisdom (1859-). and Michael Preston "Mike" "Doc" Wisdom (1861-1921).
Therefore, if Michael and Susannah were married in 1852, Elizabeth, Mary A., Sarah and Margaret J. were born before they married.
