Do you know where I could find a complete listing of W.S. Wisdom's children? Also, any other information about him would be great. My GGGrandfather was Alex Wisdom born in 1840. However, I can find no record of who his parents were. The earliest location puts him in Waterloo, AL. as a man in his 20's. Since McNairy County is relatively close to this area I am grasping at straws that there may be some relation. There is an old family tale that our family was "black-dutch" indicating some type of interracial marriage (indian or black). I noticed in the mortality schedule that there were some slaves in McNairy County that took on the Wisdom surname. Any information you may have would be appreciated.

Thank you.
