Henry D. Wireman - mid 19th century

In writing a research paper on the American Philosphocial Society, I discoverd one of the past members was Henry D. Wireman, elected to membership in 1887. As a Wireman myself, this peak my curiosity and led me on a research venture to find out about Henry D. Wireman.

In trying to find more information about Henry, I ran across a book of poems he translated from German to American. The following is a description of the book: SCHILLER, J. C. Friedrich von. THE POEMS OF SCHILLER, Complete. Edited and translated by Henry D. Wireman. Philadelphia: Kohler, 1871. First edition thus. Henry Wadswoth Longfellow's copy; inscribed to him from the translator, with a few pencil notes by Longfellow.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Respectfully,
Mark A. Wireman
Son of Janet Dickerson (Wireman), who is Daughter of James Wireman and Marie Wireman of McCouffin Co., KY.
