Hello.
I am seeking info about John T Wire who married Margaret S. McCoskey. He was born April 7, 1835 and died Feb. 26 1905. He is buried in Spencer Cemetery, Hamilton County (although lies on the county line border with Boone County on the west, many Marion Twp., Boone Co. residents are buried there. I have taken pics of his gravestone this summer. He is buried with Margaret S. She was born April 5, 1840 and died Dec. 4, 1908. I have been confused tracking her genealogy on the internet. It seems that many think she is her sister Peggy Susannah. Her gravestone does say Margaret S. Their daughter Mary Melicia Wire married my great great grandfather Richard Monroe Cox, son of Zebulon Cox and Nancy Lang who migrated to Boone County from Bartholomew County. Other Wires in Spencer Cemetery are Francis M. Wire, 1862-1924, and wife Ida B. 1865-1952; David J., March 20, 1861- October 28, 1924 and wife Flora, Aug 23, 1860- Nov. 17, 1900. David and Flora's daughter Ethel is buried with them. She died at around two months old. Assuming David and Francis are John T. and Margaret's sons. Mary Melicia was born January 11, 1865 in Bartholomew County. I know I have seen info somewhere further about John T. and Margaret's family. Would you by chance know more about John T. Wire's parents or background.
Thanks so much.
Michael Andrew Cox
