Hello,

I am trying to research my surname when I came across this forum.

My father, William Delbert, was born in Marion Ohio, 1906. His father was Elmer,
born in 1870's, died in 1951. Also believed
to be born in Ohio.

My Father had two brothers, Charles and Elmer, junior.

I remember my dad telling me about the religous persecution in England prompting his family to flee, first to the Netherlands, then to America where they lived in New York,
pehaps Hyde Park area in the 1790's.

I would love to hear other stories!
