Randy: Right or wrong, this information is in "THE WINTON REGISTER" compiled by Peggy C.(MAW PEGGY) Wilson.
Wooton Winton b. 1883 son of James Calvin Winton and Blanche Isbell.
Wooten Winton, married to Retta Cox
Two children
Charles Kyle Winton buried ca 1958
at Gentry, Potter Co. TX
Robert Wooton Winton
Three Children
Howard Daniel Winton
Ray E. Winton
Randall Winton

I believe this is your Wooton Winton. The other information may have some errors (Peggy is human)

Wooton's siblings..... Clark Winton, Edwin Hough Winton, Hazel Winton and Henry Winton
The Register lists Wooton's father as James Calvin Winton, His g-father was John Winton Jr. His gg-father was John Winton Sr.
John Winton Sr. had a sister, Sarah (Sallie) Winton that married Jesse Wooton son of William Wooton and
Ann Wilson and hence the name Wooton.
Hope I haven't made things even more confusing for you. We are probably related. My mother was the daughter of James Alonzo Winton and he connects up with Wooton back a few generations. You can contact me at wnboylan@msn.com
