Many thanks for your message. I am descended from James Wintle (1797-1823) 5th child of John, George James Wintle (1822-1913) 1st child of James, David Biddington Wintle (1846-1923)2nd child of George, William Stanley (1881-1971) 4th child of David and my father was Ralph Stanley (1907-1990) only child of William.

My grandfather lived in Tutnalls Street, Lydney and I remember many holidays there. Whereabouts did you live in Lydney? Have you been able to trace beyond John Wintle?
