Thanks for your reply, yes A O Wintle was Canon Algernon Ogle Wintle. I don't have any record of Ogle Richard Wintle, do you know who his father was or who his Children were? I am researching all Wintle's to try and link us all back as far as possible, any info you have would be greatly appreciated. I have a spreadsheet of 'Wintle's' with Births and Deaths - let me know if you would like me to e-mail it to you. I have only been doing the research for about 4 months and have been sidetracked onto Algernon (my great great grandfather) and Alfred Daniel Wintle also known as 'Mad Jack Wintle'. How long have you been doing your research? Are you tracing one line or others too? I hope the other info that I put on my last message was of some use.
