I am descended from John and Mary Wintle who were buried at Huntley in 1699 and 1685 respectively. John was a yeoman from Longhope, where his grandfather John flourished in 1600. There were Wintles at Longhope as early as 1522. My Wintle ancestors lived at Longhope for over 200 years and at Taynton for another 100 years. Arthur Wintle. Notify Administrator about this message?
