Hi I am trying to find the father/parents of Rowland Wintle (born 1684) who died and was buried in Longhope in 1751.
I have a full family tree back to this time which I can share. However I can not trace it any further. I have discovered however that the original name may have been spelt AWyntyll. As there are several people with this name living in longhope listed on the fit for war cencous 1608,
Rowland was maried to Joyce Martine. The couple had seven childredn (John, Richard, Joseph, William, Thomas, Elizabeth and Joan. My line is continued through Richard.
Any help would be appreciated.
