I have a booklet from my grandmother's family named Winter. It was written by a John H. Winters in Coweta Oklahoma. It traces my family back to the year 1056, but it is second hand information. I don't know if it is correct past the first 4 generations. It goes through several spellings and wherethe information was gathered from. John had researched for about 10 years, according to the forward in the booklet.
I'm typing it into the computer since I got only Xerox copies of the booklet. Pictures were bad and I'm waiting for better ones... if I can ever get in touch with the authors! I'd be happy to share what I have. Maybe you could use it. Remember, I didn't write it, but just passing on the info.
