Thomas Winstanley of Billinge, Lancs m. Frances, and had issue:
Ralph Winstanley of Charnock Richard, Lancs,m, and had issue (with a yr son William):
Robert Winstanley of Charnock Richard, had issue:
William Winstanley of Charnock Richard, removed to Cuerden, Lancs, b. 5 Oct 1675, m. Isabella (d. 4 Feb 1725), and d. 30 June 1751, leaving issue, a son:
Robert Winstanley of Cuerden, b. 22 Feb 1710, m. 1stly 2 Feb 1731 Sarah (b 5 Nov 1714 and d. 19 Dec 1759), dau. of Thomas Green, and had issue, with 2 other sons and five daus, a 2nd son, William, progenitor of the rest of the family listed in Burkes (too much to reproduce here, but reaching to a family of Winstanley living at Craigstowe, Grange-over-Sands, Lancs, with 3 sons and 1 dau.).
Robert Winstanley of Cuerden m. 2ndly Margery (b. ca. 1720, d.s.p. 19 July 1800), and d. 19 March 1804.
