Batavia (Illinois) Herald, Jan. 17, 1907: Resigns after 26 Years Service After 26 years of faithful and efficient service, at the W.A. Wolcott drug and grocery house, on the Island, R.E. Winslow resigns his position, to go on the road. Mr. Winslow is a registered Pharmaceutist, always obliging and capable in his work and made warm friends with many. He has long been closely confined to the store and desires to get out, therefore he makes the change. He will go on the road, for Simmons & Co. of Chicago, one of the leading kid glove houses of that city. His territory will be Iowa, Minnesota and Dakota. He will still hold his home in Batavia. Although his many friends are sorry to see him go from among them, still they will be glad to see him advance in his new work and wish for him fine success. ----- This newspaper item is posted as a courtesy.
