I have in my possession a bronze medallion enscribed with the name Sirley Cuthbert Winslow and further enscribed with the words "he died for freedom and honour".
This person does not appear on my family tree and I am intrigued to know where Shrley Cuthbert Winslow fits in - probably an American Winslow and probably 18th century.
Any information would be welcome and, if there are descendants of this person who would like this medallion as a family piece they would be welcome.
