I have been helping someone with their Winship kin. This is some of what I found.

Thomas Winship was born ca.1825 in Hodgdon,Maine. He was in Weston in 1850 and 1860,in Bridgewater 1870 and 1880,and in S. Presque Isle in 1890.Thomas served in the 11th Maine Infantry. After Presque Isle he seems to have moved to Masardis,Maine and may have died ca.1895.

Thomas Winship probably had three wifes. One was Belinda Berry(?) born Troy Maine. The third wife was Nellie.

Thomas was father to:Percival,Thomas E.,James Horace,Alonzo and Alfonso,Lorenzo,Gertrude,and Flora.

Hope this helps someone.Mike.
