In researching distant Sphar cousins I ran across the ms
"Genealogy of William and Sarah (Strange) Winnett ...", by
Mrs. A. Todd Brown, in the Citizens Library in Washington,
PA (which has been mentioned in other posts here). It lists
several intermarriages with Sphars that I can't identify in
other sources; can any of you Winnetts give me more info
about these Sphars?:
Brown's #16-10-9, Hettie Mae Reed (1895-1964) m 1914 Homer
Sphar s of William Sphar in 1st Christian Church, Charleroi.
Brown's #163, John Richard Winnett (1839-1925) m 1868 Jennie
Sphar (1849-1928), dau of Joseph Sphar.
