I believe him to be father to Asa [Asel]WINN, who also appears next door in 1850 in Antioch, Militia Dist. 800, Troup Co., GA. Asa, 27 years, b. GA; [wife] Sara, 24 years, b. GA; Nancy, 1 year, b. GA; Mary, 6 years, b. GA; Thomas, 4 years, b. GA; William, 1 year, b GA.
I believe Thomas to also be father to William E., who appears in Macon Co., AL, in 1850.William E., 30 years, b. GA, is a school teacher living in the home of William Talley.William's family:[wife] Elizabeth C., 24 years, b. SC; Edward T., 3 years, b. AL.
In 1860 Macon Co., AL, William E. has remarried, and his family is as follows, all children b. AL:[wife] Mary E., 34 years, b. GA; Edward T., 12 years; Claudia, 10 years; Ida, 6 years; William, 2 years; Celestia, 1 year.
In 1870 Edward T. is living alone in Antioch, Troup Co., GA, 22 years, a grocer, b. AL.
