I was recently sent some copies of census from Cherokee County, Ks.In 1910 John S Winn 77 was the head of the household in Columbus, KS.he was listed as being born in Missouri.Parents both born in Kentucky and he was a retired farmer. Mary A Winn was 61 born in Virginia and both parents born in
Germany. Also in the house was grand daughter Gertrude Hood who was 23, born in Kansas, father born in Illinois, mother born in Missouri and she was a school teacher.
Gertrude's brother, Fredin 1900 was listed as living with William and Lizabeth (lizzie) Hewitt.I wonder if Lizzie was a sister to Sarah Frances Winn.Lizzie was 32, listed as being born in Missouri and father born in Missouri and mother born in Virginia (same locations as John and Mary Winn)
