John,
Have read your message and was not overly concerned about the age on the tombstone. I have found mistaken dates in family bibles, census records, in military files at the National Archives and on tombstones an obituaries. Some of the information has come from Jacob's children and grandchildren who were close enough to get the information first hand. I am still having trouble coming to grips with the conflicting information about Jacob and his son, Jacob's wives. Unless someone can dig these women up and do a DNA test,we may never know who they were. I'm beginning to believe both men married twice. So far that is the only explaination I can find to resolve the conflictin information.
The reason for the response, was I was in Needmore last June and had no idea how to find the Wink Cemetery. From your description of the stone, it sounds like you have been there. If you have a picture of the stone, I would appreciate it, if you could E Mail a Scan of it. I would also like to get detailed instructions from lets say the Needmore sign north of town to the graveyard, so that I can visit the next time I am in the area. Thanks in advance for the help.
Frank
