Jacob Wink, Esq, b abt 1723 NJ d 1806 Needmore, Fulton Co, PA, is ancestor of most of the Winks in this country. He is believed to be (not proven) the son of SEBASTIAN WINK, about whom only his name and location in PA is known. SEARCHING for the WINK immigrant and European ancestory of the family. Believed to be Von Vink from one of the German speaking peoples. My grandmother called them "Pennsylvania Dutch"; whether that indicates Holland ancestory is not known.
