Hi everyone

I need help. I am researching my husbands family tree in Staffordshire England and have come across a family of winkle/winkers I don't know which they are as they keep changing even on marriage and birth entries. I have John and ann, who married in 1810 and went under the name Winckle and they had a son called John winckle in 1826 and a son called william winker in 1832 followed by a son called mark lancaster winker in 1835. I have checked the census throughout the 1800's and they continue to swap the name!!

I would really be glad of any advice. Thanks
