This is all I have developed so far from Census and LDS records. Not much but more than I knew a week ago.
I was researching for my g-g-g- grandmother Mary Ann "Polly"
Winkler. I had a picture and a name starting out.

1. John Willis Winkler was born 1822 in Ky.
John married Cecelia Adams on 3 Jan 1845 in Indian Creek Twp, White, Illinois. Cecelia was born 1829 in Ky.
They had the following children:
i Allen Winkler was born 1847 in Illinois.
ii Fielding L Winkler was born 1849.
iii Mary "Polly" Ann Winkler was born Dec 1852.
Mary married Thomas James Green,on 30 Dec 1866 in Washington, Missouri. Thomas was born 1 Feb 1833 in Pennsylvania.
iv Elvira Cicely Winkler was born 15 Nov 1854 in Illinois. She died 25 Aug 1932 in Pawhuska, Osage, Oklahoma.
Elvira married James William "Jim" Sallee on 1874 in Missouri. James was born 24 Nov 1850 in White Co., Illinois. He died after 1931.
v Samuel Zebedee Winkler was born Oct 1859 in Missouri. He died about 1935 in Union, Franklin, Missouri.
Samuel married Martha Ann Storey on 11 Feb 1877 in Jefferson, Illinois. Martha was born 29 Jun 1860 in Iron, Missouri. She died about 1914 in Terre Haute, Indiana.
