Hello Tina,
Have you had any success in your search for Winkelman family menbers?
I am searching for information about Agnes Winkelman, daughter of Benjamin Winkelman who lived in Westmoreland County, PA.
Agnes married my Great-great Grandfather James Gill.I'm not sure when they married but the had a son they named Frank in 1884.According to James Gill's civil war pension file Agnes died about 1893.James died in 1907 in the McKeesport PA hospital.
On the 1900 Census report, James lives in Etna, PA. with son Frank and sister in law Isabella Winkelman.
I am trying to find out more about these people especially the son Frank Gill.
James Gill was married previously to Rachel Zimmerman and they had a son they named Daniel K. Gill in 1861 (according to his death certificate).Daniel Gill married Mary Jane Swanger about 1885, they had at least 5 children,Harry, Zelma, Nellie, Elenor and Frank who was born in 1894.This Frank is my Grandfather.I think he is named after his uncle Frank, James' and Agnes' son. Daniel and Mary lived in Fairfield, which is close to New Florence and St. Clair Twp. and Bolivar in Westmoreland County PA.
I sent an e-mail to you several months ago but had no reply.Just wondering if you are still searching for information and if you night know anything about these people.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Linda
