My name is Mary Lucille Winiger and married surname is Massey. My great-grandfather came to America in 1865 from Jona, Switzerland. His name was Adam Joseph Winiger. Jona is near Zurich. Several years ago I came across the origin of the Wingier Name in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. There was a genealogy shop in this building (I believe on the third floor).
I got a copy. The name and address is as follows: Historical Research Center
611 Parkway, D-4, Gatlinburg, TN 37738. The toll free number is 1-888-430-7938. There is also a second address and phone number. It is: The Historical Research Center, 632 South Military Trail, Deerfield Beach, FL 33442. Phone Number 1-800-940-7991 or 1-954-421-8713. If you cannot get a copy, let me know. I'll be happy to share mine with you.
