Dear Mrs White,
I go by middle name, Rufus, and I hope you will not offended if I call you Karen.I have fond memories of Aunt Velma,She had the most beautiful silver hair, and she was beautiful.I was not around your Dad, Billy Pete, but I remember that he tied my brother Charlie, and me up,and we had to untie ourselves. It was a game we played. My Dad,Henderson Winham, in his memoirs, wrote something of a family history, and Allen was mentioned. My brother Stephen Ray,compiled his notes, and typed it out.Stephen's email address:[email protected] have a copy somewhere in this house, and I will try to find it.MeanwhileMy Eldest brother,George Keith, knows more of the history of the Winham family than I.His Son, Adrian,I think is into genealogy, and think has quite bit on the Winhams.George's emailaddress,[email protected],He will more than glad to hear from you.
I am glad that you and I have gotten in touch with each other,I am going try my copy of Dad memoirs, and if you will send me your address,I will mail you a copy.OK.
respectfully
James Rufus Winham
