John Wingfield b. 1690 New Kent County, VA; d. 1759 Hanover County, VA. m. 1720 to Mary (Polly) Hudson b. ? d. 1779 Hanover County, VA. They had six children; John, William and Ann dates unk. Charles b. 03 Dec. 1728 Hanover County, VA d. 05 Dec 1803 Albemarle County, VA; Joseph b. 1740 Hanover County, VA. d. 1793 Hanover County, VA; Thomas b. 1745 Hanover County, VA. d. 1830 Hanover County, VA.
Ann m. date unk. John James Garland b. date unk. d. 1781 Prison Barracks. They had three children; Hudson M. Garland b. date unk d. date unk; James P. Garland, dates unk; Spotswood Garland, dates unk.
My mother compiled this information from numerous sources. My family line descends from this same line of Wingfield. Ann's brother Thomas was my ancestor. I can provide the information for this branch if you would like it.
