Have you tried to reach Wilma Jones Daniel, last known address is 2041 Legrand Rd., Columbia, S.C. 29223-5707? I have a series of letters she wrote my Aunt and Mother circa 1993. She outlines in those letters significant history of the S.C. Wingard's, going back to John Adam and Anna Barber Wingard - arriving to S.C. in 1753. I'm a decendent of James Sumner Wingard, who was my great grandfather (son of Robert Mason Wingard). My grandfather was Robert Hill Wingard. When his first wife died (my father's mother), he married his first cousin - Lynn Wingard, who I really considered my grandmother, ince my grandfather's first wife died when I was about 2 years old. My grandfather moved from Throckmorton, Texas to Austin, Texas, where my father was raised and where I was born. I visited my grandfather and Lynn many times before their death - at least monthly. Lynn, as you probably know, was from Rockmart, Georgia. I now live in Houston

How's your book going? I'm very interested.
