Sarah Wing was born at Sandwich, MA 5 FEB 1658/9 [Sandwich VRs]She died 26 6th month [AUG] 1720 at Dartmouth, MA [Dartmouth VRs]they were married shortly after 5 MAR 1679/80 when the Sandwich [Quaker's] Women's meetings note their intention to marry.

Sarah Briggs (mother to Sarah) was born before 1641, the daughter of John & Katherine Briggs.The probate record of her father, dated 1 JUN 1641, mentions daughter Sarah.

The New England Historical & Genealogical Register published [in several volumes] an excellent article on the Gifford family. I am working with the Wing Family of America, Inc. [WFA] on developing a Wing Genealogy.
