The ancestry of Alonzo Wing is currently unknown. He mysteriously appears in the 1870 Census (at Saratoga Springs, New York) married, age 35 (born c1835) native of New York, with his wife Electa [Stow], age 24 and two children: Charles [age 4] and Lillian E. [age 2].
Apparently both Alonzo and Electa die between the 1870-1880 census as the two children are living with Electa's sister, Julietta Stowe (unmarried) in the 1880 Census.
Do you know of any male Wing descendants of either of Charles Wing's sons (Frank and Wesley)? It is possible to have DNA testing completed on a male Wing that would determine if this line descends from Rev. John Wing and his wife, Deborah Bachiler, whose descendants first settled at Sandwich, Mass. upon its founding in 1637.
