Hello, Wings!A kind researcher sent me a copy of the obituary of Rev. David Wing.Unfortunately, she did not know its source.Is anyone out there able to provide it?Excerpts from the obit appear below:

OBITUARY
Rev. David Wing died at his residence in Trempealeau, Wis., Oct. 16th, 1885, aged 75 years, 3 months and 26 days.He was born June 21st, 1810, in Dennis, Mass.
When but a youth he entered as a student a church seminary at Cazenova, N.Y., where he made rapid progress in his studies, and when he had completed its course entered the ministry of the church as a local preacher at the age of 21 years.His ministry was very acceptable to the church and in subsequent years he was regularly ordained to deacon's and elder's orders in connection with the Rock River Conference.
He came to Boone Co., Illinois, in the year 1845, locating first at Blood's Point, then at Cherry Valley, where he had organized the first Methodist class which now has grown into a useful and strong church.
In 1852 he was appointed to the pastorate of that church, where he was called to suffer the bereavement of a beloved companion [his first wife, Jane Lobdell, who died in December 1853].He labored successively on the following charges: Poplar Grove, Elroy and Morseville.He gave to the ministry fifty-four years of active life.
Memorial services were held at his home [in Wisconsin] and from thence his body was brought to Belvidere [Boone County, Illinois], where after additional services at the residence of his brother, J. [Joseph], V. [Vincent] Wing, conducted by Rev. G. L. Wiley assisted by Rev. S. H. Swartz.He was buried beside several members of his family in Belvidere cemetery.G. L. Wiley
Note:In 1855, Rev. David Wing married (2) Lorinda Richardson (1833-1907).She is buried in the Washougal Cemetery, Washougal, Clark County, Washington.Her gravestone inscription is "Lorinda, wife of Rev. David Wing."Their eldest child, Jesse Otis Wing (1858-1915), is also buried in the Washougal Cemetery.
