Stephen, I am the great great grandson of Absalom.I just found this websight and signed on. I signed as don b as iam not the same as Don.My father samuel was John D.Winfreys grandsons. Samuel passed away Aug 04 age 96 and passed on to me the winfrey history back to 1724 however I also would like more information on the inicident that was reported in the National Inq. I do have a copy of that article .
