Dicey Winfrey was born May 24, 1806 in Warren Co., Ky. and died March 9, 1886 in Pulaski Co., Mo. She was the daughter of James Madison Winfrey and Winifred Wimberly. They had 8 children: Sarah, Dicey, Lewis, Thomas, Susannah, James, Jr., Elizabeth, William. Dicey married Thomas Pemberton 1829 in Henry Co., Tn. Thomas was born Feb. 16, 1806 in Green Co., Ky. and died Jan. 12, 1860 in Camden Co., Mo. He was the son of William Pemberton and Nancy (Viney) Skaggs. They had 14 children: Mary, Sarah, Liddy, Thomas, Jane, Cason, John, William, Jr., Lucy, Ruth, Lewis, Chloe, Preston, Nancy. Hope this helps.
