You and I have a connection and I will send you a private email later, but the purpose of GenForum is to help everybody so I am posting here as well. Your Robert S. Winfree married into my family. The correct spelling of his wife's name is Adelaide E. Foesee'. The Foesee' s were French Huguenots who settled in Virginia. My line of Foesee' s is: my father Downman Foesee' Clements to his mother Alice Virginia Owens to her mother Virginia Foesee' Elam. Virginia's parents were Mary E(lizabeth?) Foesee' and Albert Perry Elam. Mary E. Foesee' s parents were James Fontain Foesee' and Caroline??? I was looking in the Winfree page because my search for the Foesee' s has been limp to say the least. I don't know who Adelaide was in relation to my Mary E. Foesee' but I highly suspect they were sisters.
