Hi Janie, I just ran across Samuel today. His father
was Richard Wines and mother was Nancy Miller.
Samuel was born in Jackson Co. WVA. sep. 1848 or 1849?
He died 20 mar 1927. Was married to Sudna "Sidney" McMullen.
Sidney was born 30 Mar. 1853 in Jackson Co. WVA.
Sidney's father was Matthew McMullen from Ireland born 21
July 1814, her mother was Sara Greathouse born 15 Feb. 1827
in Jackson Co. Sidney died 5 Nov. 1930.
Samuel and Sidney were married 10 Jun. 1869 in Roane Co.
WVA. After this I have conflicting info. One report has the
children as Ira G. Wines b: 14 Jun 1876, Jemima Wines b:Dec
1879, Ella Wines 21 Mar 1883, and Hubby Wines May 1891.
All born in Roane Co.
Another listing has the children as Miney M. Wines, Mary
Jane Wines, America Wines, Asa Wines, and one more unnamed
child ?? All the other info before the children is the same ? Hope this helps.
